The Ohio Light Opera is receiving online applications from string, woodwind, brass, percussion and harp players for its 2017 Orchestra. The deadline is March 1. The application process includes a resume, three recommendations, and MP3 recordings of the exposition from a concerto and two contrasting orchestral excerpts of the applicant’s choice. There is a $40 application fee.
Players must be available from June 2 through August 13. Housing is provided at the College of Wooster, plus a $2,000 stipend.
