The Cleveland Institute of Music will continue the “Lunch and Listen” series on July 11, 18, and 25. Each concert will take place in CIM’s Mixon Hall at 12:30 pm. Attendees are invited to bring their own lunches and may dine on the outdoor terrace or in the lounge before the performances. Complimentary beverages will be served at noon.
The first concert will feature violinist Solomon Liang, cellist Ryan Louie, and pianist Jason Simon performing Debussy’s Piano Trio in g and Brahms’s Piano Trio No. 1. July 18’s concert includes pieces by Poulenc, Rachmaninoff, and Amy Beach, performed by soprano Luanne Clark Crosby, cellist Kim D. Cook, and pianist Kayoko Miyazawa.
The final “Lunch and Listen” will be performed by Classical Revolution Cleveland with eclectic works by 20th-century composers. On the menu? Stevie Wonder, Alberto Ginastera, Astor Piazzolla, and Scott Joplin.
