Week Two of ChamberFest Cleveland is packed full of events. As the Festival’s executive director Jessica Peek Sherwood says — “there is something for everyone.”

Week two will also welcome three artists who will be making their ChamberFest debuts on Wednesday, June 17.

Percussionist Jeff Stern (center) will add a bit of spice to Spanish Baroque composers Josep and Joan Baptista Pla’s Trio Sonata in D minor. Stern will also play Benjamin Yusupov’s Quintet for Marimba and Strings on June 20. Read an interview here.
Rising Star oboist Izaiah Cheeran (right) will also be part of the ensemble for the Pla brothers’ Sonata. On June 18 he’ll join his ChamberFest colleagues in Sergei Prokofiev’s Quintet and Louis Spohr’s Nonet in F, and on June 20 in Samuel Barber’s Summer Music for Woodwind Quintet. Read an interview here.
On Saturday, June 20 beginning at 11:00 am enjoy Jurassic Jamboree, an exploration of music and science at the Museum of Natural History. This all-ages free event features live music performances and hands-on activities, including a musical petting zoo and activities from Cleveland Museum of Natural History teaching artists.
