The 55-member Youngstown State University Wind Ensemble, conducted by Stephen Gage and Brandt Payne, has been invited for the second time in a decade to perform in Stern Auditorium at Carnegie Hall in New York.
During the concert, on Friday, November 27 at 8:00 pm, the YSU ensemble will share the stage with the National Festival Chorus and the Florida Gulf Coast University Wind Orchestra.
A special pre-concert alumni and friends event is being planned in New York and special concert ticket prices and travel arrangements for fans are being offered.

Faculty and guest artists Zahari Metchkov, Joachim Reinhuber, Caroline Oltmanns, James Wilding and Sean Baran will play a variety of piano and harpsichord music during recitals throughout the week, and lectures and master classes will fill out the range of activities.
